House Mix

No album art for this one as I was feeling lazy in the oppressive summer heat of New York City. But here are some beats to freshen you up like the cool summer's breeze that I wish was blowing here right now.

(You could also pretend that this was all intentional and that I was going for a minimalist approach with no art, given the name of this mix is the inspired 'House Mix').

This is House, House music - mostly from the late 90s. Say 1996 - 2001 because there is some Disco House from the early 00s. Not exactly chilled shit, but not really banging the shit out of your speakers either. A reminiscent blend is what I'll call it.

*I think Armand is on crack here, at the time this came out Drum N Bass was one with Jungle and this sounds nothing like that, it's quite obviously Speed Garage. Or as the Sneaker Pimps remix is called, Dark Garage.

Back When I Had Decks & Could Mix

This mix makes me wish I had decks again (and that I would practice lots and not get lazy like before). I found a recording of this mix that I did for a friend back in 2005, and I think it's quite good. No track listing as such because I don't remember the names of some of the songs, but it's a 35 minute session for the years 1996-1999, with some House, Speed Garage and Garage back when it was 'House and Garage'. Plus the sheer novelty of being actually produced by two turntables and a mixer.

More Electro Goodness

I really am getting into Electro House. I have to be a bit picky going through the records on offer, so this is more my personal tastes in current Electro but I obviously think it's good! 13 fresh Electro riddums waiting to tear through your speaker system.
